Thinkbox has made available a preview video of v2.0 of its meshing plugin for Max, showing Frost creating V-Ray instances of a Sequoia XMesh of a demolition derby car scan. Watch it on YouTube.
Why isn’t this on the main page? I use Frost all the time with Maya and 3ds max.
Because the MX in Frost MX stands for 3ds Max i assume ?
What Spacefrog said. We usually prefer to keep previews in their respective news channels, and publish the final release on the main one too, if it’s something that would be of interest to a larger audience.
There are exceptions, though. Feel free to let us know if you think this one merits it and why.
(Keep in mind there will probably be more previews showing up in the future.)
Cool, I was wondering if it was ever going to get an update beyond recompiles.
Finally! i will like to know if there is any problem using as a distributor a PRTloader with multiple partitions. Since we have multiple IDs with same value, frost will go crazy?
Yes I know what MX stands for. This used to be max underground. Enjoy your commercialization of a free website that used to care about its 3ds max community
