Tom Hudson’s Corner Stone – Remastered

“They say you never forget your first kiss. You also never forget your first animated cartoon.” Twenty years (and one plugin) later Tom Hudson, father of 3D Studio, presents a remastered version of Corner Stone, the first animated short he created with the software. Tom managed to recover most of the files from the animation that gave birth to the “City” image that was used for the box art for 3DS r1, and has made a new version that includes sequences not present in the original (from 1990). It’s one of the first short films that have ever been produced using 3D Studio, and Tom has posted a detailed account of its conception and recovery.
