A wonderfully anachronic CG film that pays homage to history of art, conceived by UK artists Rob and Nick Carter, and produced at the Moving Picture Company (MPC). Transforming Still Life Painting portrays 24 hours in the life of an accurately recreated vase of flowers, inspired by one of the paintings of 17th century Dutch artist Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder. The film lasts for 3 hours and took two years to complete. According to the MPC, it’s the longest piece of animation they have ever developed.
