Adam is a short film created by Unity Technologies to showcase and test out the quality achievable with the company’s game engine. It was made with beta versions of Unity 5.4 and the upcoming cinematic sequencer tool.
The short utilizes an experimental implementation of real-time area lights and makes use of the physics simulation tool CaronteFX. The Demo Team also developed custom tools and features including volumetric fog, a transparency shader and motion blur, which will be made available soon.
The film was written and directed by Veselin Efremov, and runs at 1440p on a GeForce GTX980. Watch it on YouTube and find out more on Unity Technologies’ website.
