A very impressive development by Wacom. The new Inkling will give us the freedom to draw on plain paper and on the go. The system captures digitally what one draws or writes on paper, and allows to do so in different digital layers. It can then transfer bitmap or vector graphics to Photoshop or other software, pressure variations are also recorded and appear in the digital versions. The designers’ tool will be available in mid-September at a SRP of $199.00, and will not doubt fly off the shelves. Check out a video and find out more at Wacom.

This thing is everywhere. Twitter. Facebook. Youtube. It’s going to be a big hit. Already on my wish list for x-mas, but I don’t think I can wait that long.
