New features in v2.0 of Kamil Małagowski’s commercial automatic skinning plugin for 3DS Max include:
- Clamp furthermost weights
- Copy bone settings on symmetrical objects
- Fully multithreaded calculations
- Each module is 64-bit without memory limits
- A few smaller improvements

This plugin never stops to amaze, it has basically made a very tedious and time consuming process a breeze in Max, and for that very simple reason I really wish that Max’s developers would do something about that.
We know this is possible, we know it can save countless hours, so please consider implementing this in Max.
Until then though, I’m so grateful that we can have this amazing technology for such an affordable price.
Astonishing! I hate skinning, and have always struggled with it. Did one test with the demo and hit buy. I suggest all max users grab this, as it’s pure genius.

So this is the far best of all possible options for skinning (for 3ds max at least), theres no better technique/plugin/script?
