Yeti 3.0 is out

Peregrine Labs announced a significant update to its fur, hair and feather creation and animation plugin for Maya. New features include: a new tool for creating plaits and braids, Groom Deformation layers, the ability to scatter on fibres,  refactored feather geometry, rebuilt grooming UI, an updated graph editor and more.

This release also sees the introduction of Indie licensing. This offers a less expensive node-locked license with basic support but the full feature set as the Studio version. Users with existing Studio license can upgrade for $299 and Studio Render licenses can be upgraded for $169. Any 2.x licenses purchased after May 1st 2018 are eligible for free upgrades. Find out more on Peregrine Labs’ website.
