A new 3D models search engine has been launched that allows to find 3D models from various sources. Models can be previewed on the browser using WebGL and are currently displayed without textures. More on Yobi3D.

The downside to sites like this is the over abundance of ‘ugly and poorly’ modeled objects. It takes years to find production ready and nicely modeled assets. You’re better off contacting a friend or modeling the thing yourself rather than filtering through hundreds of crappy models to maybe find one good one.
