Computerinsel's image editing software is making steady progress. In addition to previous features such as smart object removal, OpenEXR support and QR Code creation, v18 now offers: synchronous move and zoom mode for working with two images in sync, a hue editor, vector operations and 32-bit per color channel support for vector layers, ability to run external programs for manipulating images, dockable panels with tabs, improved PDF import and export, etc. The software costs €59 ($80 approx.). Big Lazy Robot's Keloid
Barcelona-based Big Lazy Robot studio has finally released Keloid, a Sci-fi CG spec film directed by Juan José Palomo. Keloid was created using 3DS Max and V-Ray (with some Maya intervention). The robots in the film were designed by BLR's team with contributions by Aaron Beck and Greg Broadmore. An earlier interview can be found on Motionographer. Check out the video on Vimeo.

Adobe reports security breach, 2.9 million accounts and software source code likely compromised
According to a recent announcement by Adobe, the company has discovered attacks on its network involving "access of customer information as well as source code for numerous Adobe products". The news comes a few months after Adobe announced the end of perpetual licenses and their push to move users and their data to the Creative Cloud. More on ZDNet, TechCrunch.
