Since its official release less than two months ago, the company has been adding scans of Nordic foliage, volcanic assets, tropical plants, etc. The Megascans Studio tool has also been updated and offers the ability to tweak the scale and amount of repetitions per material layer, improved asset loading and saving, and performance boosts. MPC has released a breakdown of their work for the Ghostbusters reboot including a VFX-heavy finale, recreating Times Square in the 1970, a 2D cartoon, a 300 foot tall ghost character and much more. In total they worked on over 250 shots. Watch it on YouTube.
