New features in E-on Software’s scattering and instancing plugin for integrating EcoSystem algorithms into Max, Maya and Cinema 4D include:
Carbon Scatter 2015 is compatible with 3DS Max, Maya and Cinema 4D. More information on E-on Software’s website.
- New EcoSystem Painter (includes brushes such as add instances, jitter, raise, repel, attract, lean)
- Redesigned Function Editor with full graph control
- Native support for V-Ray 3 and GPU rendering (Octane, V-Ray RT, etc.)
- Convert your Carbon Scatter populations to native instances in 3DS Max and Cinema4D for rendering without Carbon Scatter
- Load PlantFactory vegetation and animated plants into your EcoSystems (Carbon Scatter Pro only)
- Save EcoSystem materials
- Two levels of detail for plants in the foreground and in the background (distance to camera threshold is user-definable)
- Compatibility with Team Render (C4D Network Rendering)
- Improved the display quality of billboards in real-time previews
- Replace any specimen in a population by another specimen (native object or Carbon Scatter plant)
