New features in Rendering Systems’ software for extracting various map types from photo textures and 3D models, editing normal maps and converting existing maps to different formats include: map rendering now uses 16 bit floating point numbers which greatly reduces memory usage, improved Normal Map, support for 3DS and DAE models, Histogram and Normal Map Radar, Triangle Coloring and Color ID maps from 3D models, built in help system, support for legacy plugins, channel toggle in Map Preview, etc. ShaderMap 4 Pro is available for $49, upgrades cost $34.
