3DS Max News Facebook page

We wanted to let readers know that we have created a new 3DS Max-specific Facebook page for those who would like to receive the latest Max news through Facebook. You can find it by clicking on the Facebook icon on the 3DS Max news channel page (“Follow CGPress” section) or by following this link to Facebook. We hope you find it useful.

Also of note, we would like to mention that we have taken note of the numerous requests asking for a darker color scheme. We have other planned modules we will be unrolling first, but we’ll keep this in our list of upcoming changes for the site.

Last, but not least, we have noticed that a site with the name ZoomInfo is building unauthorized, public profiles of people extracting information from various Internet data, including comments posted on sites. This is regrettable, but we suggest using name abbreviations or recognizable nicknames when posting comments.

If I may make another request, it is to have an ‘all’ edition – where all news items show up.

People still use Facebook?

I don’t use Facebook at all… so I hope this does not come with a progressive loose of attention here and an increasing attention over the Facebook page 🙂

Cheers.

@Rotem: all requests and ideas are welcome. We’ll be adding more news channels, though. That edition would end up being a salad with a news overload. You sure you’d be interested in something like that?

@juang3d: don’t worry. Not a chance.

@CGP Well, personally I’m interested in the ‘CG News’ and ‘3dsmax’ editions. If there was some cookie based way to personalize a ‘my edition’ page then that would be ideal, but I imagine that’s a lot of work and is not crucial.
