Acropora is a procedural modeler designed for the creation of large voluminous terrain meshes. The software combines volumetric modifiers with multi-octave 3D noise sampling to generate detailed surfaces in far less time than conventional surface modeling software. The resulting meshes contain caves, ridges, overhangs and other natural features that are not possible with height maps. Acropora can import models, voxelize them, and apply modifiers to clamp, warp, twist, add volume and more. Exports to .3ds, .fbx, Collada and .obj. More at Voxelogic.com.
