Chris and Trish Meyer have written a detailed preview of Adobe After Effects CS6. The new version, launched at the NAB 2012 exhibition, features a new ray-traced 3d rendering engine, the ability to create shape layers from vectors and extrude shapes and text into 3D, an integrated 3d camera tracker, deeper integration of Mocha into After Effects, a new rolling shutter repair effect for removing the unnatural “wobble” that can arise when shooting video with DSLRs, variable mask feathering, and many performance improvements. Read the preview at ProVideo Coalition.

Pixel Bender has been dropped… it’s a pity…
Just when you thought we turned a corner in rendering quality. Adobe prolongs the out dated rendering look. Dose adobe think we all do title work for Fringe?
