Adobe has announced the immediate availability of updated creative suite apps. Premiere Pro now enables you to work on low resolution proxies that are created on import. This is designed to allow working with high end formats or low powered devices. After Effects has many behind-the-scenes improvements, including a new preview system based on the Mercury Engine that is used by Premiere Pro. Also of note the Lumeti Color correction and Gaussian Blur effects are now GPU accelerated. Photoshop includes Content Aware Cropping, previewed earlier in the year, and a new Face Aware Liquify tool alongside font recognition technology and selection and masking improvements.
