Adobe has updated Photoshop desktop to version 26.11, also known as the September 2025 release. The update introduces integration with Adobe Express templates, new cloud-based project management, and Firefly generation refinement tools.
Users can now access Adobe Express templates directly from the Photoshop homescreen. The templates provide a starting point for creating assets such as social media posts, invitations, and marketing materials, with the option to move between Express for quick adjustments and Photoshop for advanced editing.
The release adds Projects, a workspace for grouping files from Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express into shared cloud-based projects. Collaborators can be invited with edit or comment permissions, allowing for real-time asset management.
Photoshop now provides access to Adobe Firefly generation history from the homescreen. Generated images can be opened as Photoshop documents for further editing, with the original Firefly output preserved.
