Is it just me or is it weird that bug fixes like vista compatibility aren’t released for everyone?
I don’t see OS compatibility, that isn’t in release form until months after MAX9 is out, a “bug”. A bug would be releasing MAX9 saying it will be Vista compatible, and then 6 months later Vista ships and MAX won’t run!!
Maybe it’s not a “bug”, but it’s not a “feature” either. 🙂
Hopefully the OS compatibility will be released as a service pack later on for those who are not on subscription. It’s a matter of common sense, really.
Uhmm, there is a March 29 for 2007….

I do not undertsand the “feature” comment… MAX 9 shipped WAY before Vista. I personally know companies which could not get final versions of Vista to test their software and hardware compatibility with even after MAX9’s ship date.
Eric, I meant that a lack of Vista compatibility, even if it’s not a bug, it is not a good thing either. I perfectly understand why it’s not available right now. But I think once it’s available it should be an option for all users who have bought or upgraded to Max 9.
Gotcha, Pablo! I am sorry for the misunderstanding… I DO agree that subscription only is REDICULOUS!
No worries Eric. And having disagreements is healthy, too. I do appreciate criticism.
Which brings me to Karl’s comments. Karl, I hope your work is not labeled the same way you call other people’s work. You can voice criticism without being offensive. Why is it I feel I’m repeating these kinds of things often? Something’s wrong here….
