Heard some positive news about this release, I think it might be a good upgrade. I’m sure it won’t please everyone, nothing ever does, but I think some people will be happy. I don’t know all the new features but what I’ve heard is good news to me personally.

Some features were shown at a talk in London, (and presumably elsewhere, as well as the beta) but it would be under NDA, so no-one can say officially.
Here is a technology preview. Looks like they changed the interface again and made the viewport screen space even smaller.
