How powerful is this bullet solver for Max? how stable is? Arrived to the 4° release with nice updates but…is it production ready? is it (and/or Lucid) the right tool to point to a “like TP/Houdini power” alternative? would be welcome a review from some cg blogger.

I would also like that. Trying to decide between buying lucid or this.

I use lucid and bulletfx together actually i find lucid to be really nice and fast for cloth simulations and simulate all my fluids and rbd stuff in bulletfx. you can even layer the modifier and get them to work simulate together

i think more energy should be put towards documentation on how to use this product, unless i’m missing something

I keep seeing spheres, cubes and low res simulations from their examples, It would be great to see how controllable and how stable are the simulations in real world cases. Any example perhaps from customers who managed to do something? Anyone used their muscle simulation for characters? Any example of Flip fluids with high particle count, animated collision objects (like characters, not spheres or other primitives)?
Fem simulations with lots of tets on a complex objects that shows speed, accuracy and stability of the solver?

to me it looks like there are a lot of different things, a huge work and surely not easy to do and implement, but none of them yet fully developed and tested for real world scenarios. The poor design of the logo itself doesn’t help either in credibility and attracting me as a customer.
In general they need to improve how they present themselves and the product.

the documentation is Poor..i bought this tool back in January and it was the worst purchase i have ever made, not because i think the plugin is Bad…i actually think the opposite…it might be quite powerful…but the lack of clear documentation or even thought out tutorials and (at least to me) confusing parameters made me want to have my money back :(, of course my request was refused.

Lol why do people keep saying the documentation is poor they have 7 videos explaining each feature?? makes no sense to me you wanted a refund because parameters were strange to you? lol

can’t find videos for how to use constraints…

I bought this late last year and could not get it to work at all.
The installation was tortuous, and the authorization is linked to the paypal transaction number, for some reason. They told me I entered a wrong number, and things went downhill from there..

Documentation does not exist. No way to figure out how to do the simplest of tasks.

I thought it looked very promising and very well priced, but I also suggested they refund my cash, as it does not work at all. They refused to do this.

This is a terrible product that should be avoided.

I bought the plugin as well and I love it its quick powerful and priced right. I think people aren’t even following instructions installation was simple they have a complete video showing how to install. it takes like 3 seconds to setup lol how is that torturous. Documentation doesn’t exist? They have almost 7 videos explaining each feature what more could you want?

How much is it to upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0.

website no longer there

What happen to this plugin? The examples were always very low end. Nothing to show real potential.

I woudn’t buy this plugin, far from, at least until they provide us all with real World scenarios on how the plugin can be used and behave with flip fluids and a high particle count.
For now, I think there is way much more work that is needed for this plugin due we have so much other great and production ready plugins that do even more and better than this does, like thinking particles, FumeFX and PhoenixFD.
