The Captury has released Captury Studio, a markerless motion capture system that allows to record motion data of humans and animals. It can use any kind of camera (doesn’t need a Kinect or Sony PS3 Eye), processes
video with varying illumination, works in all kinds of environments, tracks multiple actors and provides several tools for handling difficult footage. Captury Studio is available in Basic and Ultimate editions using rental licensing at a price of 1999 € and 4999 € respectively. More on The Captury’s website.

Looks too good to be true, part from the rental pricing, of course.
Rental and EXPENSIVE… they are out of their mind unless they are targeting big studios exclusively, I could think in paying the basic license if it were to own, but that amount for a rented packaged??
I insist, they are out of their mind 😛
