Chaos has moved Phoenix to end-of-support status for its fluid simulation software. The product remains functional in its current form, with no further feature development, compatibility updates, bug fixes, or security updates planned. Phoenix continues to be included within V-Ray Premium, V-Ray Collection, Corona Premium, and Corona Collection, where it will remain available in this status.
Existing licenses for Phoenix will continue to operate without changes. Users can keep using the software provided their subscription remains active, with renewals processed at the list price in effect at the time of renewal, independent of any earlier discounts. Subscriptions that expire cannot be reactivated.
Phoenix simulation nodes are not affected by the change. Users retain the ability to use current nodes or acquire additional ones under the existing terms.
Chaos has introduced an option for current customers to transition to V-Ray Premium or Corona Premium at the time of renewal. This transition is offered at the Phoenix list price, regardless of previous discounts, and is available until April 2, 2027. After switching, subscriptions renew at the standard Premium list price. Customers may continue renewing Phoenix without switching if they choose.
