AWS Thinkbox has announced that Deadline 10, its render management software, will enter maintenance mode on November 7, 2025. The company stated that while the software will remain available and supported, active development will shift to security updates and critical fixes rather than new feature additions.

Current Deadline 10 users can continue operating their existing render farms without interruption. All existing workflows, scripts, and configurations will function as before, with no immediate action required. Features such as AWS Portal, Spot Event Plugin, and the Render Farm Deployment Kit will remain fully supported. Users will still be able to download Deadline 10, add render nodes, and access usage-based licensing through Deadline Cloud UBL.

AWS Thinkbox confirmed it will continue releasing updates for Digital Content Creation integrations according to its regular schedule and roadmap. The company recommends that users interested in ongoing feature development consider AWS Deadline Cloud for future render management needs.
