Deep FX World has released a new procedural standalone physics and animation tool called Deep FX Studio. The tool is based on their fluid simulation plugin for Lightwave called Deep FX Rising. It’s node based interface allows the user to create procedural simulations of fluids, granular materials, fracturing, bullet physics and multiphysics. For exporting to other apps, OpenVDB and Alembic are supported.
Licenses after the beta period will cost $149.99 for Indie with a revenue cap or $349.99 for a Pro licence. Find out more on Deep FX World’s website.
Looks very slow and overly complicated for the very basic results. Certainly it looks like there was much work involved coding this but I really don’t see who would want to purchase a tool like this. There so many much better solutions available than this.
