Steve is really pushing himself to get those new RayFX updates out there – he refuses to go home until he does.
In the mean time, he wrote up a little bit that can be added to the list of RayFX plugins to be released at a later date posted earlier on Noctilucent Combustion …; “mesh-based lightsources [Luminaire Material], global illumination (radiosity & caustics) [Advanced Material?], new raytracing pipeline offering fast – virtually unlimited – recursion (techie stuff), object-based volumetrics (limit a volumetric to an object’s shape) – with full texture and material support, toon shading tools, dirt [texture], and FMR (ey ?)”; … namely : Glass Material and Liquids Material.
