E-On Changes EULA to allow distribution of assets made VUE and PlantFactory
E-On has announced changes to its product line. From the upcoming 2022 release Creator licenses will now be only for “personal non-commercial use” but will include a wider range of products formerly only available to Professional and Enterprise customers. These include the integration plugins, Omniverse live link, unlimited render size, multipass and G-Buff rendering, Python support, GoZ Bridge, exporting scene elements, exporting plants, hybrid rendering and more.
The Pro and Enterprise EULA is also to be updated to allow for the sale of assets on public marketplaces. Some restrictions apply including selling only in generic file formats, no use of included content, and no redistribution or embedding in 3rd part software, but otherwise, this removes a limitation that frustrated many users.
