Enscape 3.5 released with adjustable assets, multibounce GI, and over 40 new digital humans
Enscape, now a part of Chaos, has announced the release of Enscape 3.5 introducing adjustable assets, multibounce GI, and over 40 digital humans.
One of the major components of Enscape 3.5 is adjustable assets. Designers can now customize materials, colours, and other features of an initial batch of entourage. The materials and colours of 100 furniture items and accessoriescan be modified, as can the colours of 91 vehicles, alongside a range of asset variants. Non-adjustable assets have also been added, including dogs, trees, interior assets, and unscanned people.
Enscape 3.5 also introduces scanned people. Over the past five months, Enscape’s internal scanner has developed digital humans to aid architects in adding realistic people to 3D environments. Currently, the library now includes 93 exclusive assets, with 40 allowing clothing customization. The company has plans to expand this library by scanning more animals and useful objects.
The new version of Enscape also features a new global illumination algorithm to offer better lighting, reflections, and rendering quality, especially beneficial for architects working with enclosed or sun-shadowed scenes, mirrors, and semi-transparent materials.
Enscape 3.5 has a number of other enhancements including semi-transparent material exports, orthographic views update for Revit, better layer assignments in Rhino, a new user area in the toolbar, certified SpaceMouse support, and full integration with Revit 2024.
