Faceware release professional product line

Faceware Technologies Inc. has released its Faceware Professional product line providing an off-the-shelf solution to capture, analyse, and create facial animation that until recently only been available for testing at select studios. The professional range features updated versions of their internal technologies including:
– The 5th generation Faceware Head-Mounted Camera System capable of capturing up to 7 million pixels per second
– A new product, Faceware Analyzer, for analyzing facial performances captured with the above or other video capturing technology for a small processing fee only.
– An updated Faceware Retargeter, a free tool that takes the file created in Analyzer and transfers the data onto the 3D model. The Retargeter can be used on any type of facial rig, and plugs into many different software packages (Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage, MotionBuilder).
Trial versions of the software, sample performance and rig libraries are available for download from Faceware’s website or read the full PR.
