Cebas have disclosed more information on the research they’re doing on implementing GPU acceleration for their renderer, a project they have been working on for more than two years. According to Cebas, FinalRender 4 GPU can already do GPU instancing and render blurry reflections “so fast that it does not matter at all if you have [them] turned on or not”. More at the Cebas blog.
Looks like we have to wait until Siggraph to get more information about it. Let´s see if it´s worth the wait.
