JangaFX release EmberGen 1.1.0
JangaFX has released EmberGen version 1.1.0. This update includes 62 new and updated presets, comprising 32 entirely new presets, 13 reimagined presets, and 17 updated presets. These additions aim to showcase the capabilities of version 1.1.0 and provide users with more examples for learning and exploration.
Significant improvements have been made in the areas of collisions and mesh voxelization, enhancing the realism and accuracy of interactions within simulations. EmberGen 1.1.0 now allows users to control transforms with bones or meshes through an Import node. This feature is compatible with various nodes including Collider, Emitter, and Force types. Additionally, the update includes a node graph minimap for better navigation, accessible via the Preferences menu.
Performance and stability enhancements are also key aspects of this update, particularly related to diffusion and viscosity. Several bugs have been addressed, such as window border issues, Large Vorticity-related directional velocities, and incorrect colors in colored smoke simulations. Furthermore, the license manager is now integrated within EmberGen, simplifying the user experience.
Other notable improvements include the ability to export gradients to PNG, the addition of advection limiters, alphabetically sorted dropped pin menus, and enhanced controls for hourglass filters. JangaFX has also addressed various bugs, including export errors and issues with gradient presets and undo functions. The update has increased the maximum number of gradient presets and introduced a symmetrical mode for range sliders.
