KeyShot 2024 released
Luxion has announced the release of KeyShot 2024.1 and introduced Image Sharpening, a new image style option designed to enhance the crispness and detail of images. This feature allows users to adjust the intensity and radius of the sharpening effect, ensuring dark edges are more pronounced and light edges are brighter. The improvements in image quality also extend to the KeyShot Web Viewer.
In addition to visual enhancements, KeyShot 2024 brings updates to its user interface, enhancing responsiveness and making the real-time view sharper.
The KeyShot Web Viewer has received upgrades, responding to user demand for a more responsive and high-performing platform. The 2024 version introduces the optional inclusion of 3D scenes to facilitate uploads, further simplifying the approval and marketing processes. KeyShot continues to expand its color library, including the latest 2024 RAL color version and updates to supported third-party libraries. Performance has also seen a boost with the updated GPU Mode, which now utilizes the latest version of NVidia’s Optix framework. According to Luxion’s internal testing, this update can enhance performance by up to 25%, with an average improvement of around 12%.
The release includes updated importers for a variety of design software, including Rhino 8, Catia V6 / 3DExperience R2024x, Solid Edge 2024, SOLIDWORKS 2024, and UG NX 2306 Series, along with scene compression features that reduce file sizes by up to 33% and save time by up to 10%.
