New features in Act-3D’s real-time architectural visualization software include:
- Automatic relief for imported images – generates a Normal Map automatically when you add a Color Map to a Standard material
- Flexible object selection and movement mode
- Lock movement to an axis
- Content search function
- Hyperlight can be enabled when rendering images in Print
& Poster resolution (Pro version only) - Render photo set – you can now render many photos at once
- Individual effect stacks for each photo – this makes it
possible to choose different effects for each photo, such as different
light settings - Easier eye level camera
- Check spotlight shadows in real time
- Import 3D model as terrain – makes it easy to place items
on top of the landscape of your imported model as well as to
place the camera at eye height above your landscape - Import your own colors – colors are automatically copied
from the imported model - Importing is now faster and uses less memory
- SKP files from SketchUp 2015 are now supported
- Various improvements to materials
Lumion 5.3 is a free update for Lumion 5 registered customers, who
