As previously reported, Toronto-based Maide has created an Ipad app that allows you to control certain aspects of 3D modeling software with the Ipad’s multi-touch interface. They have now added 3DS Max support by releasing a Max plugin. The Maide Control Ipad app can be used in combination with the mouse or for collaborative work with multiple Ipads. It currently supports 3DS Max, Maya, SketchUp, Rhino and SolidWorks. The company has also stated that they’re reworking the UI to add new capabilities.

*Note: Places where standard wifi ports are blocked, such as Cafe’s, will block the app from speaking to your computer. In these cases, you can set up an ad hoc network to connect to your laptop directly.
