Maxon One May updates Redshift, Cineware for Unreal and Cinema4D
Maxon has announced the release of updates to its Maxon One product line. This includes enhancements to Redshift, the Cineware bridge for Unreal, and new additions to the Capsules for Cinema 4D.
The new expansion update for Redshift (3.5.15) provides compatibility with select AMD Radeon PRO graphics cards, facilitating more artists to use AMD hardware. An update to Cineware allows for the seamless import of Redshift Materials into Unreal Engine. And the latest Capsules drop includes dozens of new Redshift materials and a new Electric Spline Modifier Capsule for Cinema 4D.
The Redshift update includes AMD GPU support, new loop options for Maxon Noise Procedurals, the Flakes Shader across all DCCs, and the inclusion of Cinema 4D’s Distorter node. The upgrade also introduces custom Backplates in Houdini, Katana, and Blender, when used with the new Redshift Camera.
The enhanced Cineware for Unreal now imports Redshift Materials into Unreal Engine, providing high-quality textures. Finally, for Capsules, Maxon has introduced 32 new stone materials and 24 new leather materials, all designed by visualization experts Fuchs and Vogel. Also, a new Electric Spline Modifier Capsule has been launched for creating electrical effects on splines. All these updates are available immediately to subscribers on the Maxon App and the Maxon website.

So is this why we are waiting weeks for updates to Redshift for other DCCs now? The release has to time up with the Maxon One updates?
