Next Limit have released the latest version of their renderer. New features include:
- Full support for spotlights
- Extra Sampling feature – allows to distribute different
Sampling Level values in different parts of the image - OpenVDB support for volumetric rendering
- 360º Animation tool in Studio – allows for easy creation of
turntable and time-lapse animations - Camera sensor models – reproduce the color response of many
real world camera models - White balance and Tint tone mapping controls fore the render
- Floating Shadows and Floating Reflections in FIRE
- New Technology Preview Network System (TP Network)
- Hide to Camera in Shadow Channel – allows to
get full shadows for compositing avoiding the 1 pixel border
around the shadow - Improved performance on Windows architectures with over 64
cores
