Exotic Matter announced the release of Naiad, its fluid dynamics software. Features include: simulation of liquids (large and small bodies of water, breaking waves, splashes and foam, etc.), gases (fire, smoke and explosions), and full two-way coupling of rigid-bodies to fluids. Naiad currently runs on 64-bit Linux systems (Fedora 8 and later, and most recent Linux distributions). Mac OS X support is coming in the near future, with a possible Windows port in 2011. The software is available for evaluation and commercial licensing. Sample videos and more information at ExoticMatter.com.
no Windows Version ? Keep it yourself !!!
Agreed. This is strange marketing. You willing to give up 90% of sales? It is like Blizzard not doing Diablo 3 for XBOX. In Russia there is a saying for this type of behavior: will freeze my ears to hurt my grandma.
The market it’s currently targeted at is linux dominated.
