I am pretty sure this is just a piece of software, and not actually a new console. It’s using the Nintendo DSi camera to somehow track the change in environment around the player.

Hey Rune. Even if it’s a new console I think we’re still years away from seeing something interesting in the 3D imaging field. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s what it looks like.
I totally agree with you, the stereo screen technology today looks underwhelming and very limiting. But still, it’s very interesting to see Nintendo getting into the market. Let’s just hope it isn’t another Virtual Boy, their last stereo attempt was a huge failure.
