Polygonflow launches Dash: a user-friendly tool for 3D world building in Unreal Engine
Polygonflow has announced Dash, a tool designed to streamline the 3D creative process in Unreal Engine. Developed over 2.5 years, Dash evolved from the company’s previous software, GraphN. The tool offers a unique approach to world building, allowing users to create environments in UE5 without prior knowledge of the engine. Through the Dash prompt bar, users can generate an entire setting using simple commands and drag-and-drop actions.
Dash’s features include the ability to create terrains, cameras, primitives, and color grading presets. It also integrates with the Quixel Bridge content library, displaying all downloaded content for users. The tool is built on parametric systems, ensuring artists maintain control over their creations, from material settings to decal placements.
The company has plans to introduce more features in the coming months, such as physics-based placement, custom content support, and enhanced modular environment workflows. They aim to address the increasing complexity of traditional software like Unreal Engine and the limitations of AI-driven solutions, striving to offer artists a balanced and efficient tool.
Polygonflow’s Dash is currently available for download on their official website.
