Itoo Software has released a significant update to its parametric modeling plugin for 3DS Max. New features include: RailClone Color allows to randomize textures and tint maps, various UI improvements, Macros allow to create and share new nodes by creating sub-graphs, apply and align styles to multiple closed splines in a single click with clipping improvements, update multiple RailClone objects in large scenes by linking Styles, new libraries for roofing and cladding, support for 3DS Max 2018 and V-Ray 3.6, etc. RailClone 3 is priced at 200€, a free lite version is available for download. Well, I’m done with 3ds anyway, back on C4D but it’s good to see this great plugin being pushed, the trailer looks really good.
