Pretty neat pricing, very good Next Limit 🙂
We will be acquiring one license in a short time
Cheers!
You better hurry up, as these are pre-order prices.
No upgrade cost? Though at that price, it’s near what upgrade costs have been, so no complaints. Good on them for pricing competitively with Houdini, Phoenix and/or Maya fluids. I’m just not seeing any improvements worth dropping $900 on, IMO. I hope they’ve fixed some of the many issues I’ve had with RF 2015 – poor alembic support, interoperability, limited dyverso support/features and tons of small annoying workflow issues that have been around for many versions. I’ll wait for a detailed fix list.
I have found that RF2015 was already a good improvement over the past versions updates which were dreadful.
@Charkins I was curious about “upgrades” too. The last upgrade I bought in march 16′ included one year full maintenance, and that maintenance contract stated it was all inclusive of minor and major upgrades. I cannot find any word anywhere on this.
I guess you have free access to the upgrade. Just check the Next Limit Portal under “My Upgrades”.
Weird, nothing but:
“Please, contact your reseller to upgrade your licenses”
Strange it does not list my Maxwell Licenses available for upgrade either.
