Christian Bloch and Thomas Mansencal have released the latest version of Smart IBL, the software that automates the process of creating HDR image-based lighting setups. New features include: Component Framework (allows for easy extension of SIBL_GUI’s functionality), customizable UI, Sqlite database (easy organization of collections), Google Maps-based GPS map, Search Database, etc. Also of note, the 3DS Max templates have been updated, with enhanced support for V-Ray and Mental Ray.
