New features in Trimble’s modeling software include:
- 64-bit version for Windows and Mac machines
- Rotated Rectangle tool – allows to draw precise rectangles unbound by default axes
- 3-point Arc tool – defines bulges by choosing three points
- Fast Styles badge
- Overhauled LayOut’s Label tool
- IFC file import (SketchUp Pro Only) – exchange information between SketchUp and other “BIM” applications in both directions
- Enhanced Classifier tool – for applying industry standard types that stay with your model as it travels between BIM tools
- New Ruby API features – to help SketchUp extension developers create tools that manage layers, classifications, section cuts and more
