Alexey Vanzhula has announced the release of Soft Boolean for Houdini. The technology was previously part of the Modeller for Houdini addon but has now been made available as a separate product. The tool allows users to stitch polygonal meshes with boolean operations and add accurate fillets to the resulting geometry. The package contains a plugin for Houdini and some additional scripts for Maya. Find out more on Gumroad.

Amiga Terrordrome 256 bps as the background music is a nostalgic fall-back I did not expect from Houdini 3D Developers. Kudos for the bold choice, the kids today can feel the spirit of the GFX Demo Scene from 1996 🙂
