3D Nature unveils Visual Nature Studio, a GIS visualization package based on World Construction Set’s landscape visualization technology. Visual Nature Studio will continue the tradition of realistic visualization while providing new tools to control visualization directly from GIS data, simplifying and automating the process.
VNS includes support for external 3D programs, including LightWave 3D and 3ds max. Scene import, scene export and the included 3D compositing plugins let you combine realistic terrain and high quality 3D objects together in the same scene. Introductory list price will be $2475, upgrades will be available from WCS. VNS is scheduled to ship in September 2001.
