Sony shuts down Psygnosis

As announced by the Wipeout game team, Sony have shut down WWSE Team Liverpool, the developers previously known as Psygnosis. The studio was known for games such as Wipeout and Colony Wars, as well as for publishing Shadow of the Beast and Lemmings. According to Sony the campus where WWSE Team Liverpool was situated will continue to be active, housing FQA, FPGQA, Xdev, CSG-Video, WWSE Finance and various services. More on Gamasutra.
