Tried it, found it lacking.
Is is just me of does Terragen2 still stink?
Whats with the hype?
I use plenty of other, much cheaper terrain modeling software such as (L3DT, and world-machine). Even my free version of Bryce (which I’ve always hated for its mushy Macboi interface) is a more solid app.
Maybe this Terragen2 preview will just get better – I will have to for me to buy.
And were is the promised vegetation?
John Haverkamp
if you think it stinks, you should really read the docs then 🙂 there’s a thing called “population” that does vegetation, etc. As well, the sky model is epic (volumetric clouds, etc)
they also have a plant pack for download on the same site.
The only thing I found (and it’s noted on the website) is there’s no multithreading, but that’s coming
terragen friggin’ rocks – are you tripping?
