For the love of all things poly, why isn’t Clovis part of the 3ds Max development team? The tools he comes up with! This puts Max’s Freeform tools to shame.

For 36 euros, I think I prefer Clovis where he’s now. 🙂

Maybe he don’t want to join the dev team and keep his freedom to work on things as he pleases?

Fare enough. Was just hoping someone would bring some new thoughts and innovation to the old horse. I’ll be playing with it either way before the month is over.

Questions on your store cart and licensing: I recently transitioned to 2019, but still use 2018 on old scenes; and you have to select a version before checking out. Are we only able to use this on one version of 3ds Max per license? Or do we get a link to download for older versions of 3ds Max after purchase? How does licensing and updates work for when 2020 comes out in Spring?

I asked me the same after studying the website. Finally i read in the FAQs somewhere, that you only have to buy for one version of Max.

Other Maxversions on the same machine would pick up the license file as far as i understood. So no – you only have to buy it once for one machine using multiple Max licenses. There is even a home license ( 2nd computer ) possible as far i understood the licensing terms

You always get all the installers for all versions available, no matter what version you choose. for now the same TopoLogiK version works on all the versions of 3dsmax, you just need to change the max version during install.

Really, really nice!
What I am missing is a way to keep the history of all the editing, so it can be edited later (on a higher level than individual verts and faces) and/or transferred to a new mesh (without having to adjust every single vert).

No words to describe … this guy should be the Lead TD in Autodesk for 3ds Max. He pulls things out of MaxSDK/MaxScript which are close to magic.
