The online 3D assets shop Turbo Squid today announced a custom 3D modeling service. This service will allow clients to draw from a pool of over 6300 digital artists around the world when a custom 3D modeling job is needed.
The service is designed to give Turbo Squid clients another avenue for content if they cannot fulfill their needs through the Turbo Squid library of more than 80,000 3D models, meshes, textures, audio files and mocap data available for download.
Artists may also earn additional revenue as their time permits by registering to be a part of this service. Turbo Squid will match the requirements of the job with the most qualified artists who have expressed an interest in this service. The goal is to select an artist and provide a quote within two business days.
There is no cost for clients to use this service. Clients may submit a request for proposal by completing the form. Artists who have uploaded assets to Turbo Squid may register using this form.
