Unity’s visionOS support focuses on three types of spatial experiences: immersive mixed reality in the Shared Space using PolySpatial technology, ports of virtual reality games or new immersive environments, and content for 2D windows adjustable in the Shared Space. Additionally, Unity introduced the “Play to Device” feature for efficient development in the Shared Space, allowing live previews in the visionOS simulator or directly on Apple Vision Pro without leaving the Unity Editor.

Unity provides a range of support options for developers working with visionOS, including Success Plans, Consulting Services, and Professional On-demand Training. These resources aim to streamline development and offer technical guidance. Additionally, a community discussion space and a roadmap of upcoming features are available for further support.

Totally locked ecosystem from the beginning again. And now, even more locked since you need also Unity to make the app or nothing.
That’s really corpo manipulation to the extreme. You pay premium for the hardware, premium for the official dev kit, premium for the store fees, with no user freedom at all. What a crap golden prison.

Can’t wait for a vrnux os.

What are you talking about ? Unity isn’t made by Apple, it’s a different company. And it’s not the only way to develop for the Vision Pro.
And how do you think the other competing headsets work ?
