V-Ray for Revit 3.7 released
Chaos Group has announced a new release of V-Ray for Autodesk’s BIM application Revit. Version 3.7 adds V-Ray interactive with full support for geometry changes so that buildings can be rendered as they are being designed. Revit 2019 is supported, including new opaque, transparent, layered and metal material types.
The Camera dialog gets a revamp and is extended with a stereo layout option and a spherical panorama mode. Environment fog gains options for colour, emission colour, and emission multiplier.
The dome light settings dialog is also extended to add options to vertically offset the HDRI, and flip it horizontally or vertically. If you’re using the sun system instead you now have options for Sun Filter, Albedo Color, Blend Angle and Horizon Offset.
Several smaller features are also included to improve the user experience and the UI.
